Wake Up and Start the Season
The world?s premier professional wakeboarding circuit, the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour, is set to kick off its 17th season on May 16-18, 2008, in Acworth, Ga. at Dallas Landing Park. Acworth is the first of five stops for the nationwide Pro Tour, which means riders are looking to start the season off right in Acworth.

The world?s top pro wakeboarders are gearing-up for another exciting year of high-flying, rail-sliding, water-sports action, as the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour is set to kick off its 17th season. World Sports & Marketing, organizers of the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour, released today the 2008 schedule with stops in Acworth, Ga.; Fort Worth, Tex.; Twin Cities, Minn.; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Reno, Nev.
Armed Forces Weekend at Pro Wakeboard Tour in Acworth
One of the largest and most exciting action-sports events to ride into Georgia in 2008 is the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. This annual event will feature the world?s top pro wakeboard stars performing rail tricks and aerial stunts, while maneuvering on the water at a speed of approximately 25 mph. All the high-flying, rail-sliding, board-crushing action is set to hit Acworth at Dallas Landing Park on May 16-18, 2008.

For nearly two decades, female wakeboarders have taken a back seat to men in professional contests, with women?s wakeboarding featured in only a handful of events. But in 2008, female riders will finally have a series to call their own: World Sports & Marketing announced today the new professional women?s wakeboarding series, the Queen of Wake.
